Chatt Hills Community Outreach (CHCO) was initiated by councilmember Ruby Foster (Dist. 1) in 2020 as a way to help residents connect with one another and build a stronger sense of community. Joined by Councilmembers Laurie Searle and Camille Lowe, they work with the city, partners, and volunteers to create events and programs.
Ruby Foster, Chatt Hills City Councilmember (Dist.1)
Ruby moved to Chattahoochee Hills in 2000. She currently leads the Chattahoochee Hills Community Outreach initiative. In 2020 Ruby, saw a need to bring the community together thru community events. She believes that community engagement is what makes our rural communities work. She is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of the citizens in Chattahoochee Hills. |
Laurie Searle, Chatt Hills City Councilmember (Dist. 3)
Laurie moved to Chattahoochee Hills in 1997. She currently leads the Chatt Hills Senior Services initiative. In 2020, Laurie saw a need to bring some level of senior services to residents in Chatt Hills, which she now does by coordinating the Senior Lunch & Learns. She believes in the old adage, "see a need -- fill the need. She is passionate about building a strong community and contributing to the success of Chattahoochee Hills. |
Camille Lowe, Chatt Hills City Councilmember (Dist. 4)
Camille moved to Chatt Hills in 2014. She currently is the liaison for the animal service program she helped develop for lost and/or found dogs in the area. She believes that being a part of a community outreach group allows her to make a positive impact on the lives of others. She is passionate about increasing engagement and fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for citizens in Chattahoochee Hills. |
